The 130SLT has a slightly larger aperture which makes it perfect for viewing both closer and deep celestial objects. It is also lighter than the 127SLT. However, the 130SLT is shorter in focal length compared to the 127SLT.
Since the 127SLT is a Maksutov that has closed tube, it will not show diffraction spikes. While the 130SLT as a Newtonian or open tube, will have some. The 130SLT, however, will cool faster and has more resistant to dew formation compared to the 127SLT. That is why you will need a dew-shield or a heater to avoid the forming dew on the 127SLT.
